Settings that make Apple TV shine
- Turn on Settings → Video and Audio → Match Content (Match Dynamic Range and Match Frame Rate). Sports and older programs look smoother.
- Use Ethernet on models that have it, or keep the Apple TV in the open rather than behind the TV.
- On iPhone or iPad, the AirPlay button in the player sends the picture to an Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV.
- If an app misbehaves, force-close it from the app switcher (double-press the TV button) and reopen it.

Is the “EDGE IPTV” app on the App Store the same as IPTV Edge?
No. That is an independent player app by another developer, and it does not include any channels. IPTV Edge is a subscription service; you can use it in compatible player apps, but we are not connected to that app.
Why are IPTV players on Apple devices often paid?
Apple’s store does not allow sideloading, so developers sell their apps there. A one-time purchase is common, and some apps charge a subscription.
Can I AirPlay from my iPhone instead of installing on Apple TV?
Yes, most players support AirPlay. Installing the app on the Apple TV itself usually gives a steadier picture and frees your phone.
